28th February, Dublin: Uber has announced its partnership with the Aer Lingus College Football Classic (ALCFC), becoming an official partner of the highly anticipated annual American college football event. Each year, the ALCFC attracts over 20,000 visitors to Ireland, and this collaboration aims to provide seamless, reliable, and convenient tranportation options for fans throughout the week-long festivities.

The 2025 Aer Lingus College Football Classic will take place on August 23rd, making the first ever Big 12 Conference matchup in Ireland. The game will see Kansas State University face off against Iowa State University at the Aviva Stadium, kicking off the 2025 college football season on 'Week Zero'. In addition to the game, Dublin will host a series of fan-focused events, including pep rallies, tailgates , and other celebrations leading up to kick-off. Following 2024's sold-out crowd, this will be the fourth cinsecutive ALCFC game held on Irish soil.

The five-game Aer Lingus College Football Classic series is projected to generate €413 million for the Irish economy, according to Grant Thornton and Fáailte Ireland. This significant economic boost will support Ireland's hospitality, tourism, and entertainment sectors over the coming years.
